Video editing in Davinci Resolve

I have learned to do some basic things in video editing, such as jump cuts, adding B-roll, adding music, etc. But the video does not look the way I want. I am looking for someone who has a lot of experience in video editing specifically in the Davinci Resolve program to get a consultation/lesson from you. I would like to hear some ideas on how to improve what I have, possibly hear what I am doing wrong, and I would also like to learn how to create such a transition screen.
