Task Description
A set of short videos (animations) with a human avatar of a waiter interacting with the user in a chat needs to be developed.
The videos do not contain voice — only movements, facial expressions, and gestures that imitate natural human behavior during communication.
The main goal is to create a smooth and realistic user interaction experience with AI through the animated waiter.
Key Technical Requirements
Video Format: MP4 (no sound)
Video Length:
Avatar Type: human (waiter or waitress) in appropriate attire, with a neutral appearance.
Visual Style: realistic or semi-realistic (to be agreed upon before starting work).
Movements and Positions:
Each video must start and end in the same neutral position (arms down, gaze directed forward).
This is necessary to ensure a smooth transition between videos — for example, between "waiting" and "response gestures".
For example: the response video starts with arms down → performs gestures → ends when the arms are lowered again.
Below you have: 28 gestures
- 20 main gestures for general flow (greeting, listening, emphasis, pointing to iPad, farewell).
- 8 situational gestures for handling specific conversation contexts.
Three photos are also attached for selection to transform the photo into video.
Please review various Avatar visual gesture platforms and let us know 2-3 that you recommend the most based on video quality and the list of gestures they can provide. I do not expect them to perform all gestures. But the more, the better.
Greetings and Engagement
- Small welcoming wave – a gentle wave with one hand at the beginning of the interaction.
- Polite nod – a slight nod of the head to acknowledge a guest's question or statement.
- Warm smile with a slight blink – a soft, sincere smile combined with a small blink.
- Hand on heart – a gentle gesture with the hand on the chest when saying "welcome" or "thank you".
- Mini bow / Shoulder tilt – a slight tilt of the head and shoulder to express respect or gratitude.
Listening and Acknowledgment
- Head tilt (listening) – a slight sideways tilt of the head to signal attentiveness.
- Slight lean forward – a slight lean forward to show engagement in the conversation.
- Slight chin lift – a small lift of the chin when affirming or encouraging the guest to continue.
- Soft "Hmm" nod – a repeated, very light nod during "listening".
- Relaxed neutral posture – a calm return to a natural resting position when pausing.
Pointing and Direction
- Open hand gesture (side) – one hand gently opens to the side, as if pointing to the iPad menu.
- Polite two-handed gesture – both hands gently open outward at chest level to signal readiness to help.
- Gesture of offering palm up – one hand, palm up, slightly extended, as if inviting the guest to look.
- Soft pointing (side) – a gentle pointing with the index finger at the spot where the iPad will be.
- Slight head turn – a slight turn of the head towards the iPad menu during the conversation.
Polite Emphasis
- Slight hand raise – raising one hand slightly to emphasize a word or phrase.
- Gathering fingers together – bringing fingertips together in front of the body for a calm, attentive emphasis.
- Small hand gesture – a graceful side gesture of the hand to suggest "various options" without showing them.
- Slow lowering of hands – gently lowering both hands to return to a resting position after emphasis.
- Polite farewell wave – a gentle, short wave with a smile to conclude the interaction.
Situational Gestures
21. "Let me check with my manager" (when AI does not know)
- Gesture: Small hand raise with palm outward, combined with a slight nod and polite smile, signaling a pause.
- Optionally: Tap on the side of the chin with one finger, indicating "wait".
22. "Can I help you with anything else?" (after response)
- Gesture: Gesture of two open palms at chest level with a warm smile, inviting further questions.
23. Explaining portion size (small vs large)
- Gesture: Hands showing relative size:
- One hand held closer together for "small",
- Both hands gently positioned further apart for "large".
24. Pointing while giving directions
- Gesture: Polite pointing with the index finger to the side, combined with a slight head turn in the same direction.
- Gentle, not abrupt, to avoid appearing rude.
25. Thinking (pausing before responding)
- Gesture: Finger lightly on chin with eyes looking up, then returning to a neutral position before speaking.
26. Did not hear well (question for clarification)
- Gesture: Hand gently near the ear, combined with a polite nod of the head forward.
27. Providing a recommendation
- Gesture: Small hand raise with palm slightly up, combined with a warm smile and nod.
- Optionally: Hand on heart, signaling sincerity when saying "I recommend this".
28. Comparing two or more options
- Gesture: Alternating hand movement: first extending one hand slightly to the side (option A), then the other hand in the opposite direction (option B).
- Combined with a slight head movement to each side, as in "on one side... on the other side".

Additional Wishes
The videos should be without abrupt movements and with natural fluidity.
Further expansion of the video package is possible after the main ones are approved.
Animations should preferably be created with the possibility of digital synchronization with AI responses.
