Так можно просто сделать через вариативные товары, чем не подходит?

Слишком много вариантов товара выходит 21 цвет х 4 размера х 2 комплектации = 168 позиций. А если добавить еще какую-то опцию то еще больше. По сути нужен калькулятор цены в карточке товара.

А есть какая-то формула по которой должна считаться стоимость? Цвет влияет на стоимость?

Цвет не влияет, задумка такая, 21 цвет это 21 вариант товара, а к ним уже идут опции при выборе которых цена увеличивается.
Если Вы делаете позицию подушки то правила такие
Длина подушки: каждый следующий размер +50 дороже предыдущего
При выборе белого наперника +200 грн
При выборе расцветки ничего не меняется
При выборе плотной набивки +100 грн
Если Вы делаете позицию кресло-мешок то правила такие:
Размер кресла: каждый следующий размер +175 грн дороже предыдущего
При выборе внутреннего чехла +200 грн -
