Hello, Alex, let's take turns.
The API is expensive, and it will be more efficient to do everything through nodes. The task, in general, is not complicated; first, we parse surface data, pairs of tokens, and then the actual token data. The key point here is the availability of archival nodes. If they are available, it's just routine work. Although tedious and requiring attention to many small details.
Depending on the speed of development, it will be faster to implement on NodeJS (ethers module), but the parsing speed will be slightly slower than if implemented, for example, in Zig (a new form of C++, faster and simpler). However, developing a pure JSON RPS API takes a long time. This will be a fast solution in itself. If the task is a one-time data parsing, it will certainly be cheaper to use NodeJS. If it's regular parsing - then it's Zig.
From my work experience. I was directly involved in the development at lotusmarket.io in implementing a practically similar task. I can confirm this in personal communication. I think this is an undeniable argument in terms of reliability and quality. I am currently a Senior Blockchain Developer.
The price depends on the number of DEXs (like on dexscreener); the more DEXs, the more expensive it is. In terms of deadlines and price, I indicate the price and maximum deadline for the NodeJS solution and DEXs PancakeSwap and Uniswap (they are the same for parsing). I would be happy to collaborate with you!
