The collaboration was ambiguous.
On my part, I performed a significant amount of work: setting up and optimizing Google Ads, working with Merchant Center, analytics, semantic core, negative keywords, and regular analysis of search queries.
At the same time, difficulties arose during the work due to inflated expectations regarding the speed of results and the specifics of advertising algorithms. Not all recommendations and explanations regarding Google Ads and Merchant Center rules were taken into account, which affected the timelines for achieving results.
Communication often took place on weekends and outside of working hours, and frequent changes in priorities and additional tasks required prompt adjustments to the strategy.
Payment for the project was made on time and in full, for which I am grateful.
The client tends to question the specialist's recommendations, even on issues governed by Google’s policies and algorithms.
I recommend that future contractors thoroughly agree on KPIs, communication format, work schedule, and realistic expectations regarding the timelines for achieving results in Google Ads before starting the collaboration.
