I ordered an SEO audit, received a list of errors, many of which lack clear recommendations for correction. I was very dissatisfied. I had to open a dispute for the freelancer to answer questions about the audit. But in the end, he just beat around the bush and still did not answer the questions.
What exactly is wrong:
1) The performer refused to check whether we implemented the changes correctly or not. I have ordered SEO audits many times, but this is the first time I encountered such a situation.
2) Refused to answer clarifying questions about the audit, although he wrote that he would do so within a month after completing the work. This is the first time I see this when working with a freelancer or companies providing such services.
3) A lot of template text, for example: you have redirects in CSS and JS, but it turns out there are none; he just didn’t remove this part from his template audit. And this is just one example.
4) In the file, you will get a list of obvious things (almost the entire audit). For example, if you give him access to Google Analytics and Google Search Console, he will write in the audit:
"Based on the website analysis, among the basic services used for promotion, the following services are connected:
Google Search Console
Google Analytics."
The price of the audit is not high, but the goal is for you to pay him money and receive a list of errors that you will not be able to implement without an SEO specialist because he deliberately did not provide a solution.
And then he responds with such template phrases to each question:
"This problem is solved within the framework of regular SEO specialist work."
If you have an in-house SEO specialist, then you do not need the audit. If you do not have one, then you do not need the audit because without it, your developer will not be able to fix the errors as there are no clear recommendations for their correction.
Here is an example of what you will get:
"We recommend updating the robots.txt file, taking into account the recommendations and the current features of your website."

The executor was responsible and tried, was always in touch, even early in the morning, which was very important and good.

But the full potential of the automation script was not utilized. The task was to automate the booking completely without our participation, but still had to get up at 5 a.m. to book tickets manually, in the last days the bot didn't take any bookings at all, while manual booking worked fine as usual.

To sum up, initially the script worked well, then something went wrong. Technical issues started, and in the last three days of the project, the bot did not complete a single booking. Whether the problem was in the written script (errors, etc.) or something else - we didn't have time to find out, as the project came to an end.
What was good is that the bot worked well at the beginning, for which we are grateful, but what went wrong later is unknown, and in the final days of the project, it was disappointing that no bookings could be made with the bot. Maybe if there had been more time, we would have figured it out.
