Honda Civic EG Body
The goal of the project was to create a high-precision 3D model of the body of a Honda Civic (1992, hatchback) for further design of suspension elements and other technical units.
Execution features:
• Reverse engineering: data from lidar scanning was used to reproduce the geometry, which was verified and validated by practical measurement methods.
• High accuracy: by using the original manufacturer drawings, it was possible to reproduce the model at a 1:1 scale, including all major mounting points for the assemblies.
• Hybrid modeling: the work combines proprietary high-precision developments with the integration of existing decorative elements for complete visualization.
Result:
The obtained digital copy of the body fully corresponds to the real car and is suitable for professional design of power elements and tuning.
