Creation of an accurate 3D copy of a broken plastic fitting/valve for the repair of the hydraulic system of a household appliance (coffee machine).
The part has a complex multi-level cylindrical shape. The main challenge is the precise reproduction of the internal channels for the passage of liquid under pressure, as well as the specific bayonet fastening (grooves) at the bottom for reliable fixation in the appliance's body.
A parametric CAD model has been developed that perfectly replicates the original. The part is designed for 3D printing with heat-resistant and safe (Food Safe) plastics that can withstand temperature fluctuations and water pressure.
