The tale of the chick
This work continues my series of educational stories for children. My central idea was to explore the theme of empathy and responsibility. I wanted to show that even the smallest creature can feel responsible for the whole world and have the courage to help someone who seems infinitely bigger and stronger. I chose the name "Sunshine" for the chick not just by chance. It creates a conceptual connection between the hero and the celestial body. My idea was that the chick sees the sun not just as an object, but as a "great friend" with whom it feels a kinship. The main message I embedded in the ending is that "light never disappears forever." This is an important message about hope and the cyclicality of life that I wanted to convey to the reader through a simple and understandable story.
