In this example, a sample layout of a book for printing is presented: title page, technical page, table of contents, author information, reader's address, as well as the design of chapter beginnings and main text. To comply with copyright, only a fragment of the publication is shown in the portfolio.

This layout demonstrates:
- the design of the title and service pages (the technical page, placed after the title, is left blank according to the printer's requirements — it will be filled in by the printer);
- professional formatting of the table of contents;
- design of chapters and subsections;
- adjustment of fonts, line spacing, paragraphs, indents, tables, and QR codes for easy navigation for the reader via the author's links;
- correct placement of text on the page with increased inner margin near the spine of the book, which is necessary for binding;
- setting up mirrored margins and different headers for even and odd pages;
- mirrored page numbering;
- a unified design style for the entire publication;
- preparation of a PDF layout in A5 format, adapted to printing requirements.
While working on the book, I also perform formatting checks, eliminate minor technical flaws, control the consistency of styles, and overall neatness of the layout to ensure the book looks professional and is ready for submission to the printer. If necessary, I can adapt the layout to the requirements of a specific printing house.
The cost of formatting: from 60 UAH per page of the layout depending on the complexity. The final cost depends on the specifics of the manuscript, including:
- whether the text already has formatting or needs to be created;
- the presence and number of tables, images, diagrams, QR codes, footnotes, and other design elements;
- the need to create or refine the table of contents, headers, numbering, styles, and navigation;
- the volume of additional work required to prepare the book for printing or to create an interactive electronic version. I will be able to provide an exact cost after reviewing the manuscript.
