Translation, book layout
Translation of the book into Ukrainian and creation of a layout for electronic and printed publication.
As part of the project, I translated the text from Russian to Ukrainian, preserving the author's style and the peculiarities of the material presentation.
I also prepared the book layout: structured the text, formatted the chapters, set up styles, created interactive links and a table of contents for the electronic version of the book, and prepared the publication for further release.
The book "Author of Life. How to Create a Successful Life Script" is one of three books by psychologist Anna Kalantyrna, on which I worked as a literary editor and translator, as well as a layout designer (this work was paid separately, and the cost mentioned here is specifically for the translation).
The cost of the work depends on the volume of the text and is 100 UAH per 1,000 printed characters. The cost of creating the layout (typesetting) of the book depends on the complexity of the structure and the number of pages and is approximately 50-65 UAH per page. When ordering two layouts simultaneously for the printed and electronic versions of the book, the cost is 65-75 UAH per page (but only one layout is paid for — the one that consists of a larger number of pages).
