    Hi! My name is Maryan, and I live in a typical Ukrainian village. My childhood was just like people from the city often imagine it: I chopped firewood, helped with household chores, and only got internet access around the age of 7 or 8.

    I often visited my neighbor, who was also my best friend. We had fun however we could — coming up with activities, playing around, and breaking the rules at kindergarten: hiding from the teachers, causing mischief, and doing all sorts of silly things. That time will always stay in my memory.
