2. Трехмерные размеры должны состоять из элементов (балка - размерная линия, конус - стрелка, колонна - выносная линия) для видимости в других программах?

Виктор, добрый день!
Соединение вообще не принципиально, главное, чтобы было понятно - пользователи - электрики. На данном этапе можно вообще без соединения. Но если Вы предложите вариант будем признательны.
На счет трехмерных размеров - тут можно или элементами или 3д телами (цилиндры). В итоге все надо будет перевести в формат fbx.
