I have personally developed a Management Accounting program for the IT Group of Companies in Google Sheets. To be honest, we did not use the BAS program because analytics on business areas was important, and the cash flow was mixed across different accounts of various formal enterprises. Overall, P&L reports (by business areas and overall), Cash Flow, Balance, and other reports were automatically generated for any analytics needed by the Owner for decision-making, provided that the records of operational activities in this program were linked to the necessary analytics. Yes, I told the owner that this is just logic that has been tested and works very well, but we need to write a user interface because the logic spans more than 10 tables, and if something is deleted, the Balance is disrupted (this is a control point). However, to write the interface, additional funds are needed (not small)... You think that adding to BAS would be cheaper, but it would be more accurate to write your own interface from scratch; then you will definitely understand all the errors that will arise during implementation... As for the timelines for writing and implementing the logic in Excel/Google Sheets, it is no less than 1-2 months. Regarding the automatic transfer of some data from BAS, it is possible to write scripts, but there will still be a buffer table that will need to be manually linked to the reference books of the Excel program for each record. There are many more nuances...
Я маю, особисто, розроблену програму Управлінського обліку для IT Групи Компаній в Google Sheets. Буду відвертою, програму BAS не використовували, тому що важливою була аналітика по бізнес-напрямкам, рух коштів, яких був зміксований на різних рахунках різних формальних підприємств. Загалом на виході автоматично формувались звіти P&L (в розрізі бізнес-напрямків та загалом), CashFlow, Balance та інші звіти, під любу аналітику для Власника для прийняття рішень, якщо записи операційної діяльності в цій програмі мали прив'язку к необхідній аналітики. Так, я власнику говорила, що це просто логика, яка прошла опробування і дуже добро працює, но потрібно писати інтерфейс користувача, тому що логика тянется скрізь більш ніж 10 таблиць і якщо щось удалить, то порушується Balance (це контрольна точка). Але щоб писати інтерфейс потрібні додаткові гроші (не маленькі)... Ви думаєте дописати BAS - дешевше та вірніше буде писати свій інтерфейс з нуля, тоді точно будете розуміти всі помилки, які будуть виникати при впровадженні.... Що стосується строків написання та впровадження логики в Excel/Google Sheets, то це не менш 1-2 місяця, що стосується автоматичного перенесення деяких даних з BAS, можливо написати scripts, але все одно буде буферна таблиця, яку потрібно буде вручну кожну запис прив'язувати к довідникам Excel-програми. Є ще багато нюансів...
