I have personally developed a Management Accounting program for the IT Group of Companies in Google Sheets. To be honest, we did not use the BAS program because analytics on business areas was important, and the cash flow was mixed across different accounts of various formal enterprises. Overall, P&L reports (by business areas and overall), Cash Flow, Balance, and other reports were automatically generated for any analytics needed by the Owner for decision-making, provided that the records of operational activities in this program were linked to the necessary analytics. Yes, I told the owner that this is just logic that has been tested and works very well, but we need to write a user interface because the logic spans more than 10 tables, and if something is deleted, the Balance is disrupted (this is a control point). However, to write the interface, additional funds are needed (not small)... You think that adding to BAS would be cheaper, but it would be more accurate to write your own interface from scratch; then you will definitely understand all the errors that will arise during implementation...
