Budget: 1000 RUB Deadline: 1 day
Hi, Tanya! Could you please provide sample file for convertion? Thanks, Vadim.
We have a collection of technical documentation in .docx format (10+ documents, several hundred pages each). They need to be converted into Adobe RoboHelp (v2019) project format. After conversion it is required to check if all the formatting / alignment / etc. is correct and fix the places where something is off
Requirements
The RoboHelp project has the same title as the source Microsoft Word document.
All chapters from the initial document are transferred into the RoboHelp project format.
All of the original formatting is preserved: fonts, headings, formatting (bold, italics, code blocks, etc.)
To do this, see the original document + use the CSS file with predefined styles & formatting as supplied (attached CSS file for Adobe RoboHelp) when importing the Microsoft Word document.
Checklist
All indentation in the resulting project is correct (especially important for lists and images).
A correct table of contents is present (the same TOC as in the Word document, with the same heading levels preserved).
All the links within the document work (links from one chapter to another).
All the links to external resources and email addresses work.
All 'Notes' in the source document retain their formatting (red color, original font, ‘NOTE’ is capitalized+bold, but the colon after ‘NOTE’ is not bold).
Special characters are displayed correctly (®, ©, etc.).
Make sure that PortaSIP®, PortaBilling®, PortaSwitch® preserve the ® when used in the body of the text. No ® in headings.
No invisible non-printable characters present in headings/chapter titles (so as to prevent “chapter.htm” from turning into “↲chapter.htm” after exporting the RoboHelp HTML5 output of the project if an extra invisible non-printable character was present in the original Microsoft Word file).
Make sure there is an empty line between an image and the text.
Make sure there are no extra empty lines between the tables and the text.
All the content in the Contents tab is sorted into folders and all folders follow the TOC and structure of the original Microsoft Word document.
Lists
All the lists are displayed correctly, no extra lines between the items on the list.
All the numbered lists preserve the original numbering.
Nesting lists remain nesting lists (with correct indentation levels).
Tables
Tables have the same size ratio as in the source document and look clean overall.
Make sure to verify that the title row has a grey shading (the grey shading is set in the supplied CSS).
Images
All images, screenshots, illustrations, photos, etc. must be exported (no missing image files).
All images, screenshots, illustrations, photos, etc. must preserve the original quality level as in the source document (clear, non-overcompressed, non-blurry).
All images, screenshots, illustrations, photos, etc. must preserve the original Alternative text (if present).
For images, screenshots, illustrations, photos, etc. that have no meaningful Alternative text in the original Microsoft Word document, add a placeholder Alternative text that follows the pattern ChapterTitle-SubChapter-Image-0X
(e.g., Intro-AboutPortaSwitch-Image-01).
All images retain the same scaling size as present in the source document
All images imported with “Use Thumbnail” setting on (checkbox):
Specify the image width:
Screenshot width - 1000 (4 panels), 750 (3 panels), 500 (2 panels), 250 (1 panel)
Illustration width - 750, 500, 350 or 250 (depends on the visibility)
Check the Use Thumbnail box and duplicate the image width from the previous step.
I can provide an example file that needs to be converted upon request

I have several ready-made samples of steam fireplaces, including a model that serves as a reference for quality, design, and functionality. The task is to develop a proprietary product under our own brand based on the analysis of existing solutions. Main tasks: complete technical analysis of existing samples; disassembly of the structure and components; determination of the operating principle of all units; preparation of technical documentation; creation of a bill of materials (BOM); selection of alternative suppliers for components; cost evaluation of production; development of the concept for our own product; preparation of a plan for transitioning from prototype to mass production.
A freelancer is needed for the prompt collection of data from the Scopus database and its entry into Excel files. What needs to be done: open journal cards in Scopus; check the journal status (active/discontinued); find and enter CiteScore; collect Subject Areas and Percentile; determine Quartile (Q1-Q4) according to the provided table; carefully fill in Excel files according to the specifications.Requirements: attention to detail; confident work with Excel; willingness to quickly engage in work; experience working with Scopus or other scientific databases will be an advantage.Scope of work: The database contains about 1500 journals. The work can be divided between two performers.Payment: 3500 UAH for the entire volume or 1750 UAH for half of the volume.Deadline: Work needs to start immediately. The deadline is in the next few days.In your response, please indicate: Have you worked with Scopus or other scientific databases before? Do you have experience working with large Excel spreadsheets? What is Quartile (Q1-Q4) in Scopus? When are you ready to start working? A detailed technical task will be provided to selected candidates.
Output data: Existing building: single-story office building; structural scheme — frame-less brick; external walls thickness 380–640 mm; internal load-bearing walls thickness 380–510 mm; ceilings — precast reinforced concrete hollow-core slabs; foundations — columnar with FBS blocks; approximate dimensions of the building — 40.34 × 28.84 m; building area — about 747 m². Planned: dismantling of the existing rafter system and roof; addition of a second floor with glued laminated timber structures; installation of a new wooden roof structure; reconstruction of the existing building with partial changes in loads on load-bearing structures.Required to perform: Analysis of the provided technical report on the building inspection. Verification calculation of existing foundations, walls, and ceilings for the perception of additional loads from the addition. Development of structural solutions regarding: installation of reinforced belts; strengthening of brick walls; strengthening of foundations (if necessary); ensuring spatial rigidity of the building; nodes for load transfer from glued laminated timber structures to the existing building. Calculation and justification of the adopted solutions. Issuance of a set of drawings for the stages of KB/CM/KZ (depending on the adopted solutions). Consulting support during the development of wooden structures and implementation of the project.Output documentation: Scientific and technical report on the building inspection. Measurement drawings. Architectural solutions for the addition. Preliminary concept of glued laminated timber structures.Requirements for the contractor: availability of a design engineer certificate in terms of ensuring mechanical resistance and stability; experience in the reconstruction of existing buildings; experience in designing the strengthening of brick or stone buildings; preferred experience working with additions of wooden structures or glued laminated timber.Message text for Freelancehunt Good day. We are looking for a designer to participate in the project of reconstructing an existing single-story brick office building with a subsequent addition of a second floor made of glued laminated timber. I'm looking for a practicing lawyer or attorney. I need a description of one real case from personal experience. What needs to be done: Provide a description of one case, as well as real documents related to the case with confidential information removed (names, addresses, case numbers, amounts replaced with conditional ones). The description should include: • what the task was (to prepare a response, an appeal, a motion, etc.) • what documents were involved in the work • how the search for similar court decisions was conducted in the registers (Unified State Register of Court Decisions and others), what keywords were used, what criteria were used to filter the results, what legal norms were relied upon during the search • what decisions were found, why they were relevant, and how their similarity to the current case was assessed • how the found case law influenced the formation of the action strategy and the preparation of the document The key focus: it is important for us to understand the logic of the search, how a lawyer moves from a specific case to similar judicial decisions in order to build a defense strategy or position.
