Create backend for mobile app NodeJS/Firebase
38 USDYou need to create backend for our mobile app using Firebase. Backend serves 3 functions:
- support user authorization (including storing user emails to database)
- storing/retrieving user data (like user progress in app) into the database; access to data is mediated by authorization check
- custom API functions (which should also be available just to authorized user and can also use database for storing/retrieving some data).
You need to configure Firebase project for using Google and Apple auth to work with this lib feature: https://rnfirebase.io/auth/social-auth
Using Firebase Firestore create a table for storing some specific JSON object related to specific user. So only that user can edit and view that object: https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/security/get-started. It will be accessed using that feature: https://rnfirebase.io/firestore/usage
Also create 2 cloud function endpoints (just empty templates, we build them in next milestones). Endpoints should support:
- Caching of responses in Firestore
- Rate limiting requests of users (with different dynamic rules like 100reqs per day, 3000 reqs per month…)
The first step will be to arrange with our frontend developer how backend and frontend will interact. We will create Telegram group for this interaction. If will be also good, if you are available for Zoom calls.
