It is possible to override Bootstrap styles, that is, to write styles on top of Bootstrap styles, but this is not optimal because there will be a lot of unnecessary styles; it is better to layout the designs and replace the layout.

You can either rewrite the styles or completely redesign them. It all depends on the needs; if the new design does not significantly differ from what is on Bootstrap - it is easier to rewrite the styles. However, if the design is radically different - it is better to redesign using pure html5+css3+flexbox without using Bootstrap.
