Design of a Health Report with Personalized Recommendations

Mission/Purpose:
When people get recommendations about improving their health, they are typically depressing! Recommendations are too pushy (“quit smoking”), science jargon is all over, the next steps are unclear, and there is just too much text. We are looking for someone who will create a health report that will stand out! (based on our health check-up and proprietary cutting-edge science).

Deliverable:
5-10 pages for a pdf report (the texts and chart data will be provided, as well as some details about accents)
if this project goes well, we’ll create a similar report for the website.

Criteria. We’ll test the report with end users (that is, more objectively):
Information is perceived easily. Ensure it via a hierarchy / smart use of color, layout, fonts, white space, etc. Also, with clear charts, and occasional icons/images. Assess by “corridor testing” - the emotion of strain in the users.
Top 3-5 recommendations are designed in such a way that 100% of readers remember them after reading the report 🙂
Charts are clear - they don’t create questions, they produce clarity.
[optional] You’ve created several styles (sets of colors/fonts/layouts) so that we then use one of them as a critical part of our brandbook [very much optional, but a big bonus point if we pull this off].

Timeline: ideally, start around May 9 +- 1-2 days, and finish in 5-7 days after 0-2 iterations.

Provide links to previous work showing: ideally, consumer reports about personal health or similar areas (pdfs with many text recommendations and charts); if you didn’t do such work, that could also be OK if you’ve done a lot of UX work where you designed how large blocks of text (and charts) should look like to be easily readable - please send your best examples over!
