Hello everyone. We are gathering a team for the development of an application with several visual novels on Unity.
We understand that we will need several artists to implement the project, so the requirements listed below are NOT for one person; when applying, please indicate what you are ready to work with.
We are interested in reviewing your portfolio; experience working specifically with visual novels will be a huge advantage, but we are open to considering people without experience, provided they have a good portfolio. We understand that we cannot provide all the details for an accurate assessment at this time, so please indicate your hourly rate or how much it would cost for you to design, for example, one character or something similar.
Approximate scope of work:
1. Character sprites:
Basic poses: At least one image for each character in a neutral state.
Emotional states: Each character should have several variations of facial expressions (joy, sadness, anger, surprise, etc.). (more details will be specified in the technical specification)
Pose variations.
Clothing design that will change for the characters.
2. Animation elements (optional):
Facial expression changes: Light animations for smooth transitions between emotions.
Character movements: Animations for gestures or movements.
3. Background images
Main locations:
Background for each scene: Different places where events take place (classroom, street, room).
Day and night versions: If scenes change with the time of day.
Detailing:
Environmental elements: Decorative objects, furniture, and other details that add atmosphere.
4. User interface (UI)
UI elements:
Dialog boxes: The place where dialogue texts are displayed.
Buttons and menus: Buttons for interaction (start game, save game, settings).
Progress indicators: Sliders, level indicators, etc.
Style and color scheme:
Consistency of style: A unified style for all UI elements.
5. Additional elements
Screen transitions:
Transition animations: Fading, sliding, or other effects for transitioning between scenes.
Effects and animations:
Environmental effects: Rain, snow, light.
Special effects: Magic, explosions, etc.
Below are approximate references regarding the style needed.
