Here are the technical assumptions for the under-stair closet I am building: Space: A niche with a width of approx. 374 cm, height of 254 cm, and an unusual depth of exactly 100 cm. Movement concept: The closet consists of 5 independent, full-size modules (boxes) that slide completely out of the niche into the hallway. The tops of the modules are cut at an angle to match the staircase. Mechanics and load distribution: At a depth of 100 cm, a fully loaded box will be extremely heavy.
