Budget: 10000 UAH Deadline: 5 days
Hello! The task description is very well written. It's nice to see a client who understands that packaging is not just a pretty picture in three-dimensional projection, but primarily an engineering structure, where every millimeter of the unfolding affects how the box will be assembled inside on the conveyor or manually.
I also work with printing houses, I know the ins and outs of wide-format printing, flexography, and the specifics of applying images to cardboard. For me, coordinating technical parameters with the printing house's technologists is a regular daily routine, so your layout is guaranteed to pass moderation the first time without stress and overpayments for pre-printing preparation errors.
Answers to your questions by points:
Experience in development: Yes, I have extensive practical experience in creating product packaging (from simple "lid-bottom" boxes and self-assembling structures with ears to complex inserts for fragile goods). I clearly understand how cardboard of different densities and corrugated cardboard behaves when bending, so the design does not crack along the scoring lines.
Preparation for printing: Full compliance with printing standards. I work strictly according to your stamp (cutting/die-cutting) or can help develop the correct unfolding from scratch. All technical lines (cutting line, folding/scoring line, perforation) are placed on separate technical layers with the correct Overprint attribute assignment.
Communication with production: This is one of the main advantages of working with me. I will contact your technologist myself, request technical requirements (protrusions, minimum line thickness on the reverse, trapping requirements), and deliver the printing layout "turnkey." If they have corrections, I will handle everything myself.
What files do I provide: A complete set for production. Working output in vector (EPS, layered), ready-to-print PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 (color model CMYK, all texts converted to curves, links embedded at high resolution 300 DPI).
Deadlines: It will take 2–3 days to develop the concept and the first design options. For clean technical assembly, final refinement, and approval with the printing house — another 1–2 days. Overall, we are looking at 4–5 working days turnkey.
Please let me know what exactly your product is, whether there is already a ready die (die-cutting drawing) from the manufacturer, or if we need to select the box structure from scratch? Send the details in a message, and I will take a look and immediately guide you on the first steps!
