I have extensive experience in writing firmware for Espressif microcontrollers both on ESP-IDF and on the Arduino framework. I have worked with Waveshare boards (ESP32-S3, ESP32-P4) and with the LilyGO T-Call SIM800H board. I have implemented projects with various sensors and modules that had different connection interfaces (I2C, SPI, USART), different power supplies, and so on, communicating with them in the code both through libraries and directly using registers, so working with your modules (MPU-6050 GY-521, ICM45686 + AK09940A) will not be a problem for me after analyzing their technical documentation.
On which framework was the firmware written: ESP-IDF or Arduino? What is the process for making changes to the code: will we send each other an archive with the code or will I create a separate branch in your GitHub repository? What volume of changes is anticipated in your technical task? Just replacing drivers? Changing the data processing logic?
