I need to add the video (and gif file) (‘Record’) start key to this program and that this key will record the video (and gif file) from the program while the simulation is on. The video recording (and gif file) must be removed using the same key. The simulation starts with a separate key called "Simulate (F3)". The PyViz program is written for Linux on Python, using GTK+, GooCanvas, Cairo.
The program is run only under Linux, how to install, put on your NS3 machine with PyViz, and launch the simulation in PyViz, if necessary I will explain.

А такой вопрос, сильно не вчитывался в документацию ,но там в известных проблемах указано: You cannot use visualizer with simulations that require emulation (EmuNetDevice, TapNetDevice) or real-time scheduler (RealTimeSimulator). Это не станет проблемой?

на счет этих симуляций, то сказать ничего не могу, будет ли это проблемой или нет(скорее всего нет). Но мне нужно чтобы на тех симуляциях на которых запускается визуализатор PyViz была возможность запиасать саму визуализацию. Чтобы в этом визуализаторе PyViz была клавиша "Record" которая бы сделала запись видео симуляции визуализаии
