We are looking for a specialist in email deliverability and newsletter setup.
There are several client databases (about 23,000 unique contacts). Data: name, phone, email, language (ru/en/uk/fr/it), order date. Email providers – Gmail, Yahoo, Mail.ru, Yandex, corporate domains, etc.
The task is to set up the infrastructure and strategy for newsletters so that emails reach the "Inbox" as much as possible (minimum in the "Promotions" folder and spam), considering that some Russian email providers (Mail.ru, Yandex) periodically end up on blacklists and have special requirements.
What we need from you:
- Setup of the technical part: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, correct sending domain/subdomain, domain reputation, and if necessary – dedicated IP.
A plan for warming up the domain/IP and gradually increasing volumes (separately for the main providers: Gmail, Mail.ru, Yandex, etc.).
- Cleaning and validating the database (from dead/dangerous addresses, spam traps, duplicates), recommendations for segmentation: by language, activity, order recency, etc.
- Recommendations for content and email templates to reduce the likelihood of landing in Promotions/Spam (email structure, subjects, image/link volume, etc.).
- Setting up metrics and monitoring deliverability: open rate, complaint rate, bounce rate, Postmaster tools (Gmail, Mail.ru/Yandex, etc.), report on results.
- Detailed documentation: what has been set up, what are the sending limits, what rules to follow, how to safely send newsletters in the future.
How we thought to do it:
- For international addresses (gmail/yahoo/corporate) – comfortably use SendGrid.
- For ru-domains (mail.ru/yandex) it may make sense to use a separate service that works better with them (UniSender, Selzy, Mail.ru for business, etc.)
Direct access to the database is not provided. The work will be done purely on a consulting basis, possibly with several Google Meet calls for setup assistance.
Expected results:
- A ready-to-use newsletter infrastructure.
- 1–2 tested newsletters for part of the database with a deliverability report and recommendations.
- Clear instructions for our team so that we can launch the next campaigns without risking "killing" the domain's reputation.
