Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain code across the stack for processing data, hosting an API, and serving video
Collaborate with the apps team to refine ideas, optimize code and processes
Work with the math and mobile teams to implement production code, including providing written descriptions, specifications, and test data as needed
Required Skills:
BS or equivalent in math, physics, or engineering
Expert knowledge in PHP and Python
Experience with Reddis, git, nginx, and React
Ability to master new ideas from a wide range of fields, including math, engineering, physics, statistics, and computer science
Strong written and spoken communication in on technical topics
Bonus Skills:
We write a lot of code using other languages and frameworks like TensorFlow, OpenCV, C++, and Matlab so if you’re familiar with or have heard of these, that’s a plus!
