Creation of 2D characters for a finance YouTube channel
1. About the project
It is necessary to develop 6–7 unique 2D characters for a finance YouTube channel.
minimalism
flat design
geometric shapes
clean lines
soft, muted color palette (without bright and neon shades)
The characters should look modern, professional, and evoke trust.
2. Character archetypes
The main character — friendly, a bit naive, explains complex financial topics in simple terms.
Experienced investor — confident, businesslike, with charts or a laptop.
Young entrepreneur — energetic, goal-oriented.
Older mentor — wise, calm.
Tech expert — works with digital tools and gadgets.
Regular saver — thinks about expenses and budget.
(Optional) character for light comedic situations.
All characters should be diverse but executed in a unified style.
3. Visual style requirements
Flat 2D

Professional and clean look
The design must be completely unique and not violate copyright.
4. Format and files
For each character, it is necessary to provide:
High-resolution PNG with a transparent background (basic neutral pose).
A separate version with a simple solid or gradient background (for thumbnails and videos).
Source files with separate layers (AI / PSD / SVG), prepared for animation.
5. Preparation for animation (mandatory)
The characters must be initially designed with subsequent animation in mind (rig-friendly design).
A separate structure is required:
Head
Hair
Eyes (separately)
Mouth (preferably several options for emotions)
Torso
Left and right arm (separately)
Forearms (preferably separate elements)
Legs (separately)
Accessories (glasses, items, gadgets, etc.)
Important:
Elements must be prepared for rotation and movement.
Minimum complex intersections of shapes.
Simple, clean structure for easy rigging.
The characters will be animated in a video editor (DaVinci Resolve / Fusion), so the construction must be convenient for further animation.
