Illustration / graphic for premium puzzles (Style: Flat art / modern retro / lifestyle)
Hello,
I am looking for a talented illustrator/graphic designer to create the first designs for a new puzzle brand. Ultimately, I am looking for someone for ongoing, regular collaboration on future collections.
What exactly needs to be done? The task is to create a unique digital illustration (graphic) that will be printed as a puzzle. I am aiming for a specific style: contemporary vector/digital illustration, combining "Flat Art" style (flat color patches, no realistic shading) with elements of modern retro (70s, groovy/Y2K aesthetics) or cozy lifestyle. A vibrant, warm, and saturated color palette should dominate.
Technical requirements: I have complete templates, mockups, and technical specifications from the printing house, which I will provide to the selected person. The target format for the graphic is approximately 70x50 cm (for both 500 and 1000 piece versions), the work must be done in high resolution (minimum 300 DPI) and prepared in the CMYK color profile.
Skills in DTP are welcome, meaning the ability to later apply the finished graphic to the production grid of the box and add typographic elements (logo, text).
What users is the product aimed at? Our clients are people who value design, aesthetic interiors, and home decor. The finished puzzles, once assembled, are intended to serve as a poster to be framed and hung on the wall, so the illustration must stand on its own as a work of art.
How will I evaluate submissions? Your portfolio is key for me. I am looking for individuals who naturally create in the described style (juicy colors, bold style, modern lifestyle poster).
