Budget: 26995 UAH Deadline: 14 days
Hello. I am ready to complete your task. Write to discuss all the details.
Looking for an experienced design engineer to develop a technical solution for a "magnetic base" for premium modular parquet (such as Versailles and geometric modules). The product is aimed at the US market.
Essence of the technology:
It is necessary to design a rigid stable substrate (adapter) that is glued to the back side of the wooden module (sizes 40x40, 60x60, 90x90 cm). Neodymium magnets in steel housings (Pot-magnets) should be integrated into this substrate to fix the parquet to the metal base on the floor/wall without using glue.
Your tasks:
Structural development: Designing the layers of the "base" (composite/HPL + damper) considering a thickness of 3-5 mm.
Calculation of fastening nodes: Determining the optimal number and placement points of magnets for fixing large format modules (90x90 cm) considering the pull-off and shear force.
Preparation for CNC: Creating drawings for laser cutting metal and milling grooves in the substrate.
Materials science: Consultation on the selection of adhesives (PUR glues) for bonding wood with the composite base (considering different thermal expansion of materials).
Requirements for the performer:
Fluent in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.
Understanding of wood processing technologies and working with CNC.
Experience in designing complex technical products (not just case furniture, but engineering units).
Advantage: experience working on export projects.
What we have:
Initial samples of premium segment parquet (solid/engineered board).
Clear vision of the final product and budget for prototyping.
Work format:
We start with the development of one test module (90x90 cm). After successful prototyping — development of the entire line and support for production in Ukraine.
Please attach examples of your technical drawings (assembly drawings, detailing) to your response.

Good day.
* Experience: 25 years (engineering, design, industrial object control).
* Education: Systems engineer.
* Tools: SolidWorks (expert level, automation with VBA macros, precise generation of production files DXF/PDF).
**🚩 Technical audit of the specifications (Critical risks of the concept)**
1. **Material conflict (Deformation):** A module of 90x90 cm made of solid/engineered wood generates extreme internal stresses with fluctuations in humidity. A rigid substrate of 3-5 mm (HPL/composite) does not compensate for them. Consequence: destruction of the adhesive joint or warping (bending) of the entire module.
2. **Shear physics (Shear Force):** Neodymium magnets (Pot-magnets) hold against pull-off but are critically vulnerable to shear on smooth surfaces. Dynamic loads (steps, furniture) will inevitably spread the parquet. Integration of an anti-friction layer or mechanical positioning locks is necessary.
3. **Base tolerances (Micro-gaps):** An air gap of only 1 mm (unevenness of the metal base on the floor) exponentially reduces the strength of the magnet by 50-70%. Rigid embedding of the magnet in the plane of the substrate will lead to a "bubbling" effect. A height compensating damper is needed for each magnet.
**Cost structure of development (Prototype 90x90 cm)**
| Stage | Content of work | Labor costs | Cost (USD) | Result |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **1. R&D and Analysis (Proof of Concept)** | Calculation of pull-off/shear forces. Designing a scheme for compensating thermal deformations ("wood-adhesive-substrate"). Selection of PUR adhesives. | 20–24 hours | 200–300 | PDF report with technical justification of the viability of the nodes. |
| **2. 3D modeling** | Building a parametric assembly in SolidWorks. Integration of damping and magnetic nodes. | 20–30 hours | 200–375 | Complete dimensional 3D model of the module. Approval via screenshots/videos. |
| **3. Release of design documentation** | Creating drawings for production. Preparing files for CNC (milling) and laser cutting. Specification (BOM). | 16–20 hours | 160–250 | Assembly drawings, detailing, production DXF/PDF files. |
| **TOTAL:** | **Development of 1 test module** | **56–74 hours** | **560–925** | Transfer of files after 100% payment of the stage. |
**Limitations and conditions**
* Output files (SolidWorks tree structure) are not included in the base cost.
* Scaling the solution to formats 40x40 and 60x60 is charged separately after successful physical testing of the 90x90 prototype.
* Work is divided into sprints. The start of the next stage is only after approval and payment of the previous one.

A project for a stove is needed, with a layout for two floors. On the first floor, a solid fuel stove for large firewood, one meter long. On the second floor, either a stove or a fireplace with gas channels for heating the second floor. Between the floors, there is a reinforced concrete slab, hollow. Above the second floor, there is an attic. On the second floor, the stove should be plastered, while on the first floor, it can be without plaster. Dimensions First floor Height 2200 mm from the floor to the slab Maximum width 1150 mm Length is not limited Second floor Opening in the wall 2100*2300 (height) Width up to 1200, the smaller the better. I am open to any options! The first floor is a basement. The area of the house is 120 m². The stove on the first floor is designed to heat a buffer tank of 600 liters for the underfloor heating on the second floor. The stove on the second floor serves as additional heating during the off-season, provided there is a fuel chamber. In the case of a stove, it serves as additional heating for adjacent rooms.
Vectorization (digitization) of the paper reconstruction project (115 sq.m) and registration in the EDESSB Task description: I am looking for a certified design engineer (or architect) with a valid qualification certificate and experience in the EDESSB office for digitizing and entering the completed reconstruction project into the system. Initial data of the object: Object type: separation of part of the premises of the former dormitory into a separate residential apartment. Area: 115 sq. m. Documentation status: there is an old, fully approved paper project (construction intentions) developed by a municipal architectural planning enterprise. The project has not been uploaded to the EDESSB system before (has not been digitized). Legal basis: there is an official and valid decision of the executive committee of the city council granting permission for reconstruction, the object has already been officially assigned an apartment number (address). Communications: all old paper approvals from the Fire Service, Sanitary Inspection, and City Gas (Gorgaz) are available. All networks are physically connected, metering devices are installed, and supply contracts are active. What specifically needs to be done (Scope of work): Vectorization (digitization): Redraw architectural and planning solutions from the paper archive into electronic form (PDF/DWG formats) according to current standards for graphic material design. Formation of the case in EDESSB: Create a project card in EDESSB and legally correctly attach the existing initial data: the executive committee's decision and old paper approvals from the services. Entry without new TU/MUO: Since the networks are existing and the re-planning occurs within the capital walls, the project is uploaded based on the CMU Resolution No. 406 (without issuing new TU and MUO). It is necessary to correctly fill in the declarative fields in the system to avoid blocks. Registration: Sign the project with your electronic signature and generate a registration number for the project with a QR code for the client for further submission of the Notification of the start of construction works in "Diia". Requirements for the performer: Availability of a valid certificate (I will check in the Register of certified persons). Successful experience in "processing" similar archival objects/reconstructions through EDESSB without new TU. CRITICALLY IMPORTANT CONDITION (REGARDING THE ENTRY METHODOLOGY): Please do not offer to develop a new project from scratch under modern standards at the full commercial design rate. The object has 100% ready, approved solutions in the capital walls. The task is specifically about updating the information of the old project (Stage P) through vectorization (according to the Procedure for maintaining EDESSB). Please base the work on official algorithms for entering "old" architectural solutions into EDESSB, which are currently widely discussed at professional workshops (for example, methods for supporting and digitizing archives from CLC PRO Group / PRO InfoBud). PRO InfoBud / Consultations / Commissioning / How to update information in EDESSB: guide for "old" permits. https://proinfobud.ua/yedessb/aktualizatsiya-vidomostey-yedessb-stari-proekty/ A vectorized plan is uploaded to the system, and the current decision of the executive committee and the paper letter from 2006 with wet seals from the city architect, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Gorgaz are attached as legal initial permit grounds. The program will not require new TU and MUO, as the project card indicates the absence of the need for new connections. A specialist is needed who clearly knows this technical toolkit of the EDESSB office. clcgroup.com.uaWorkshop “Entry and updating of “old projects” in EDESSB”https://clcgroup.com.ua/blog/aktualizatsiya-vidomostej-v-yedessb-shhodo-starih-proektiv/ Please indicate in your bids the final cost for the entire turnkey work (including uploading to the system) and realistic deadlines for completion. It is necessary to digitize the ready solution; there is no need to invent architecture or construction from scratch.
Wooden terrace 7x4.5m with a frame wooden sauna 3.5x2.25m and a tub. The terrace is located on a plot with a slight slope. It is necessary to calculate the structure of the terrace (made of wood; the site is in the mountains - high snow load), calculate the structure of the sauna, develop a 3D model (photorealistic renders are not needed) and prepare drawings (facades, sections, site plan). A small complication: the documentation and drawings must comply with a specific format. Nothing special, but markings, colors of materials, and other details must adhere to a certain format. I will provide samples. In the attached files, there is an unfinished model for a general understanding of the concept.
