В PHP знания практически нулевые, но есть базовое понимание в программировании и опыт работы с узкопрофильным языком высокого уровня типа «Паскаля».
В идеале хотелось бы за месяц пройтись по php и получить базовые знания в Yii.

Вы б для начала посмотрели бы в сторону просто php или js а потом уже во фреймворки на ООП. Потому что ну как бы Паскаль это грубо говоря не о чем (это по сути пережиток прошлого и марально устаревшая программа украинских вузов)
