About the project
The project is an In-house TMS (Transportation Management System) - an admin panel for a company that deals with transportation (in the USA) using trucks.
Tech stack
Laravel 10.8, PHP 8.1, MySQL 8 + PhpMyAdmin
Laravel Backpack - the "foundation" for the admin panel (https://backpackforlaravel.com/), but with many of its own components
Vue 3 - custom components, inserted in "chunks" where custom reactivity behavior is needed
All under Docker (Docker compose)
Tasks
It is necessary to develop an API for the frontend (which is on Vue 3 and being developed by a frontend developer), the output should be a collection of postman or swagger (openapi) documentation.
Part of the API is already done (dummy API + several real routes), but it is necessary to make all routes real + integration with Amazon Location Service for route calculations
Calculating routes using Amazon Location Service - Amazon Location Service
and converting textual descriptions of places into geo-coordinates (lat/lng)
Geocoding - Amazon Location Service
Collaboration
Since the project is already partially done (and being developed), evaluating the task is difficult (and time-consuming) because many different "connections" in the system need to be considered.
Therefore, I suggest working in stages, where a stage is X hours of time that you "redeem" and you perform tasks for the project. Tracking through toggl (play/stop with a description of what has been done), regular work commits.
Write about your experience working according to the project description, also your hourly rate and how available you are (how many hours you can approximately dedicate to work until ~June 10).
PS. To work, you will need to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement)
PPS. Currently, a frontend developer, backend developer (and team lead together - me), and account/project/product manager are working on the project. So, technical assistance can always be expected for any questions
PPPS. The project budget on Freelancer is limited to 27k, however, it is actually larger
