What is currently in place:
— Pixel installed via Google Tag Manager (web container).
— Standard Meta events and custom duplicates are firing simultaneously — data is polluted.
— In Events Manager → Diagnostics, there is 1 active error on the Purchase event.
— CAPI is not being set up yet — this is a separate phase.
What needs to be done:
1. Audit all sources of Pixel firing (GTM, native CMS fields, HTML inserts).
2. Keep only standard Meta events: PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase.
3. Remove all custom events that duplicate standard ones.
4. Fix the error on the Purchase event in Diagnostics, confirm its closure within 48 hours.
5. Document the current state of CAPI (baseline for the next phase, without setup).
6. Report with screenshots "before/after" (Pixel Helper, Test Events, Diagnostics, Overview).
Acceptance criteria:
— 0 duplicate events in Pixel Helper on key pages (main, product card, cart, thank-you).
— Each standard event fires exactly once.
— 0 errors on the Purchase event in Diagnostics 48 hours after the fix.

A familiar situation - when standard events and custom duplicates trigger simultaneously, Pixel learns from the garbage and campaign optimization simply does not work. It is especially critical to fix Purchase before launching CAPI - otherwise, it’s double chaos.
