Micro Front End: implement proof-of-concept architecture with SystemJS
We’re building a modular micro-frontend application using the React framework, with SystemJS as the core of our modular architecture. To validate this approach, we’re looking for an experienced developer to create a proof-of-concept. Successful implementation will lead to further collaboration on other tasks, including a data API.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Single-Page Application (SPA) architecture•
Proficiency with modular frontend architectures
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with SystemJS or similar module loaders (e.g., Webpack Module Federation, Single-SPA, etc.)
• Strong GitHub portfolio with open-source projects and starred repos
Deliverables:1. Setup & Build Modules:
• Implement test modules: host, main, sub-1, and sub-2, with React components for each.
• Each module should have a manifest file containing the list of its components.
2. Rendering Components:
• Develop a rendering function in the host module to load and display components by name, supporting nested rendering (the component in main module should display the components in sub-1 and sub-2 modules via this rendering function).
3. Dynamic Module Loading/Unloading:
• Enable modules to load/unload on-the-fly via a simple Modules API.
• Replace unloaded modules’ components with stubs, ensuring they can be restored dynamically.
The final deliverable will be a modular app with the specified modules, capable of rendering stub components and supporting the dynamic loading and unloading of modules.
