Technical Task: 3D Model of a Keychain with NFC Chip
General Idea
Create a 3D model of a keychain consisting of two parts:
Front Part — a convex surface with a relief image (the image will be provided).
Back Part — a flat surface with a template for text (company name), which should be easily changeable in the future.
Both parts should fit together so that there is space inside for placing the NFC chip.
Technical Requirements
Dimensions: approximate size of the keychain 50–60 mm (you can clarify during the work).
Thickness: provide internal space for the NFC chip (size ~40×25 mm).
Front Part:
Convex relief with an image.
Design with smooth transitions, without sharp edges.
Back Part:
Template for text (engraving or relief), ability to change the text in the file.
Connection:
The two parts must fit tightly together (for example, a latch or grooves + glue).
There must be space inside for placing the NFC chip.
Hole for Ring: make a hole Ø4–5 mm at the top of the keychain.
Perimeter Projection: at a distance of 2 mm from the edge, create a small convex rim (height 0.5–1 mm).
File Format: STL (for 3D printing).
Additionally
The design should be optimized for FDM printing (without supports).
Preferably — rounded edges, so the keychain is comfortable to use.
The model should allow easy changes to the company name (text).
Expected Result
Complete 3D model in STL format.
Render visualization (PNG/JPG).
Instruction/note on where to edit the text.
