так просто проще в движке шейдеры настраивать, при этом нет привязки к конкретному движку)), не надо парится с настройкой материалов))

Да какая там привязка, если у тебя пластик? Вообще материал надо настраивать детально в конкретной сцене под конктретное освещение и даже ракурс, и делается это просто, если знаешь где крутить)

для качественного рендера да конечно, а для реалтаймовых движков предпочтительнее использовать текстуры.
