Project Brief: Google Tag Manager (GTM) Setup Turnkey
1. General Requirements
Website: acsparts.biz (platform — Khoroshop).
GTM Container: GTM-PMPDZ59B.
Analytics System: Google Analytics 4 (ID: G-QH4ZSBXBLD).
Full integration with Google Ads, GA4, Meta (Facebook), and setup of basic e-commerce events is required.
2. Mandatory Tasks
GA4 Connection
Create a GA4 Configuration tag (ID: G-QH4ZSBXBLD).
Assign the Initialization – All Pages trigger.
Verify that all events are sent to GA4 (check in Realtime).
E-commerce Setup
Tracking:
view_item(view item),view_item_list(category),add_to_cart,remove_from_cart,begin_checkout,purchase.
Check the correctness of parameter transmission (item_id, item_name, price, currency, quantity).
Google Ads
Add a Conversion Linker tag.
Connect Google Ads conversions (obtain ID and Label from the client).
Verify linking with GA4 (import conversions).
Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)
Add a basic Pixel tag.
Set up key events (
PageView,ViewContent,AddToCart,InitiateCheckout,Purchase).Check in Events Manager.
Other Integrations (if needed)
Hotjar / Calltracking / other services.
Set up in GTM without code changes in the template.
Consent Mode v2 (consent banner)
Implement via GTM to ensure data collection complies with GDPR / ePrivacy.
3. Result Requirements
All tags are structured, labeled, and grouped (GA4, Ads, Meta separately).
Check in Preview mode and GA4 reports (Realtime, DebugView).
Provide a test screencast: how tags work and which events are sent.
Provide the GTM container with configured tags.
4. Access
Access to GTM container (GTM-PMPDZ59B).
Access to GA4 (G-QH4ZSBXBLD).
Access to Google Ads / Meta Business Manager (for conversions).
5. Acceptance Criteria
All pages of the site are connected to GTM.
GA4 collects basic events + e-commerce.
Google Ads conversions are transmitted correctly.
Facebook Pixel works and duplicates key events.
All checks passed (Tag Assistant, GA4 Realtime, Events Manager).
