I posted a project for setting up and managing a Google Performance Max advertising campaign. The contractor Stanislav Pirogov responded to the project with a bid of 12,500 UAH. During the correspondence, he clarified what I wanted to advertise, and I replied that ALL products on the site are priced above 500 UAH. He raised the cost to 16,500 UAH. The contractor justified the increase by stating that to improve efficiency, products need to be divided into groups. Okay, I agreed.
I accepted his offer and paid for the project. After that, the contractor wrote that he would only advertise a PART of the products, 10 categories. I replied that we had agreed to advertise ALL products over 500 UAH. In response, he told me that it would cost more (AGAIN MORE for the second time), and supposedly we did not agree on this. He stated that he was only ready for 10 categories or did NOT WANT to complete the project. In response, I tried to meet him halfway and offered not all products, but 15 categories. The contractor still did not agree and suggested canceling the project. When I learned from technical support that in that case I would lose the commission, I AGREED TO HIS TERMS - the 10 categories he proposed. He still responded with a REFUSAL.
I wrote to the contractor that I would have to cancel the project as unfulfilled and leave a negative review. In response, he wrote that he would also leave me a bad review. I asked him what complaints he had against me, and he DID NOT RESPOND. So I interpret this as an ABSENCE of complaints against me.
IN THE END: from the very beginning, I did not change the terms of reference even once, while the contractor raised the price twice and ultimately refused to work, despite the fact that I fully agreed to his terms. The contractor did not communicate any complaints against me. I tried in every way to preserve the project, offered counter proposals, and in the end, I FULLY AGREED TO THE CONTRACTOR'S TERMS. The contractor still REFUSED TO COMPLETE the work. As a result, I lost money and time.
Considering the above, I consider this contractor UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST, AND I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND CONTACTING HIM. You will waste time and money, just like I did.
