Setting up your own email server
Looking for an email Deliverability specialist for a project who can set up a system for a large array of cold data and assist with:
1. Infrastructure:
Configuration and monitoring of SMTP servers (MailWizz / Postal / PowerMTA / others).
DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, A): correctness check, updates, validation.
Technical audit of servers: blacklists, PTR records, warm IPs, SSL certificates.
Warming up new servers and domains according to a calendar.
Planning and launching new servers (when limits are exceeded or blacklist risk is high).
2. Testing and Quality:
Checking each mailing before sending (via Mail-tester, GlockApps, SpamAssassin).
Testing templates on different email clients (Gmail, Outlook, iOS, Yahoo, etc.).
Identifying trigger phrases or technical reasons for landing in spam.
3. Analytics and Optimization:
Providing a technical task to the analyst for creating and maintaining a dashboard with key metrics.
Regular analysis of mailing results by servers/domains/content.
Identifying patterns of deliverability decline.
Weekly reporting: status for each server, recommendations.
