33 USD We are launching advertising campaigns on Instagram that lead users to a conversation in Direct. A person sees the ad → clicks "Write" → goes to Direct and sends a message.
We want to track which specific Instagram ad each message came from.
The problem is that Instagram does not pass any information about the source of the ad at the moment the message is sent in Direct.
No UTM tags, ad IDs, or other markers appear in the CRM – as a result, all applications in Kommo look the same, and we cannot understand which specific ad brought the lead.
We need to figure out how to technically track the source of inquiries from Instagram Direct in Kommo.
Meta API is connected, there are Google tags.
