1. Brief description of the project
The project involves correctly configuring XML import of products to a website running on WordPress using the WP All Import plugin. Data is imported from two XML files received from the supplier:
Full.xml — a complete file containing general information about the products.
Light.xml — a simplified file containing only information about product prices and availability.
2. Initial task and current issues
Initially, about 5 years ago, it was decided by the supplier to use two files to reduce server load. Over time, the current import configuration started to work incorrectly:
Prices and stock levels are imported incorrectly
Products that are not in the stock file (Light.xml) are displayed.
An additional plugin, SheetEditor, is used to simplify filtering and bulk editing of products by brands and sizes.
