We need to complete 3 tasks to improve our website (can be done all together or separately) - the site is based on Shopify:
1) It is necessary to make a full translation of our website into Russian, ensuring that the Ukrainian language opens first by default (as it currently does), but there is a language switch button, where selecting the Russian language button will result in the site being fully correctly translated into Russian. It is also required to have a flag of Ukraine next to the Russian language on the language selection button, but labeled RU, to make it clear that this will be the Russian language, while indicating that we do not support the aggressor state in any way. We already have a translation of the website into English, but over time it has also lost its relevance and needs updates, but we are specifically interested in information regarding the translation into Russian and separately for the updating of the English version.
2) We need to create 2 main product categories, from which we need to create several subcategories for each category, and from these subcategories, there will be one final layer of subcategories. We want to create new filters and a new configuration for product search filters so that they can switch automatically depending on the selection of a certain filter value. I will explain with an example for better understanding:
On the main page of the website, there are 2 main product categories: "for sports shooting and hunting" and "for military and special forces". For example, we choose the second category, and the following categories are displayed: "For rifles", "for machine guns", "for snipers", "for turrets", "for pistols", etc. For example, we choose the subcategory "for rifles". Next, we go to the "for rifles" product page and select a product based on filters that need to be set up correctly. A filter by weapon names, a filter by calibers, and possibly some others that will be necessary, but these two are the main ones. However, it is necessary for these filters to be interdependent and automatically show/select something in the second filter, depending on the client's choice in the first filter. For example, we have 2 main filters "weapon name" and "caliber", and when selecting the weapon name "AK", immediately in the second filter, where the caliber is, only those values that can correspond to the "AK" filter selection remain available, such as calibers "5.45" and "7.62", while other calibers either display but cannot be selected, or disappear. It is also necessary to ensure that this filter panel is fixed, so when the client scrolls the site, it does not disappear but remains fixed. It is also desirable to redesign it so that it stands out more to the client, so that they intuitively understand that they need to select a filter, rather than just looking at everything and thinking about what might suit them.
3) It is necessary to create a product comparison function based on characteristics. That is, to select, for example, 2 products, and this function would compare the characteristics of these two products (highlighting, for example, what differs - but highlighting is optional). A similar functionality exists, for example, on the Citrus website: https://www.ctrs.com.
