Your current site looks much better than the example, but identified the problems:
- remove the green boxes (in categories, buttons - make the more quiet, and the font with the example will look good), but here the icons make bright and more noticeable (you have they grey, better they would be your green color), the prices also make less screaming;
- your covers are terrible - they are all different, that on the cards of the goods is unhappy... it is better to appear through the change of mass shabby and transparency;
- the headlines of sections are normal, but they need to be changed, it is better to place in the center, and increase the distances between categories;
Well and so in general do everything in a minimal style - less of any drawings, a photo with the same background, instead of the drawings by the user to add specific inscriptions, and you have these icons small, the user will not immediately notice, and the animation is crazy.
