хм, разработал эту методологию лично, около 5 лет назад. собственно и по сей день ее успешно внедрял в разных коммерческих проектах. По поводу дна, ну всегда можно снизу постучать.

1) у вас макет не под бутстрап, читайте что такое бутстрап или смотрите 5минутное видео
2) гриды это круто, почему вы их боитесь? это крутая технология которая пришла недавно, классно адаптируется и не ломается в разных браузерах, при добавлении карточек товара все четко сортируется по своим ячейкам например
3) методология.. ну скорее всего вы гурман хотите чего-то новенького и несовершенного, когда большенство пишет на бэме
