... в данном случае мы копируем, а не создаём с нуля...
Так что нужно
- разработать уникальный дизайн под 12 позиций (в одной линейке) ?
- сделать ОДИН дизайн и модифицировать (подпись, цветовая гамма) ?
- скопировать чужой дизайн по образцу ? -
зазвичай, після такого, про адекватність бачення замовника можна не продовжувати...

Ее нет, с момента, когда заказчик написал о копировании чужого. Т.е. можно вот так вот просто взять чужое и не думать над своим.

Уточните пожалуйста "чтобы избежать претензий" - это при копировании чужого дизайна? То есть дизайн надо все-таки угнать у другой ТМ?

я честно говоря даже не знаю, найдется ли среди уважающих себя специалистов кто-то , кто спокойно и занедорого будет красть чужой дизайн.

Вообще-то заказчик про копирование ничего не писал. Возможно речь идёт о "копировании"/ модификации базового дизайна.
Или лечь идёт о референсе. Мудборды существуют 🙂
ТЗ действительно двусмысленное, не совсем ясное.
И тем не менее я бы сказал что описание ничуть не хуже, а скорее даже лучше чем большинство.
В конечном счёте наши проекты стоят на 5-20 месте в перечне текущих задач у клиента. Он вообще не обязан разбираться в наших вопросах...

Если вы все же прочитаете тз, то там речь как раз о копировании и о том, что надо избежать при этом копировании претензий (видимо той ТМ у которой надо угнать дизайн) Этика? Авторские права? не слыхали?
И это все не "наши вопросы", это вопросы непосредственно связанные с продуктом, продажами и бизнесом.

Полагаю что речь идёт о референсе. Работа по мудбордам. Примерам - это общепринятая практика.
Я думаю что тут вопрос в формулировках. Клиент не обязан говорить и формулировать на нашем "птичьем " языке.
Едва ли ему нужен точный повтор. По сути чисто технически это было бы дороже, чем взять Готовый похожий фон легально с фотостока...
