Updated the database from old archives, now the site has started to display more or less correctly. But some errors are still present.

Якщо навіть сайт простий, без сторонніх розширень, то перехід з 2.5 на 3 зазвичай непростий. І шаблон точно буде несумісний, треба робити з нуля.

Можу дати доступ до його адмінки, щоб зрозуміти чи вийде. В попередній стан, не знаю чи можливо це. Але бекап годовалої давності в мене є, я не впевнений в тому що там старіша версія сайту

Я не помет когда я обновлял его. Копии где-то есть, нужно искать

Ясно, тогда с этим можно разбираться в процессе.

Сейчас сайт не работает совсем. Если нет рабочего архива, то надо делать следующее:
1. Вытаскивать из базы таблицы content, categories, menu, assets.
2. Устанавливать чистую жумлу и запускать в рабочее состояние.
3. Пошагово делать апгрейт 2-3-4
4. Собирать сайт заново на новом шаблоне.
Это сохранит контент и url страничек. Другое не поможет. Ну а хорошая новость - можно обновить дизайн.

Попробовал обновить через скачанную версию джумлы 3.0 и сайт лёг) сейчас перезаливаю файли чтоб вернут как было. Шаблон я так понял сохранить не удастся? И сколько будет стоить такая работа?

Олег, перечень работы я примерно описал. Поверьте - это не первая моя такая работа. Есть сайт, который я поднимал с версии 1.5 до 4-ки.
От сайта нужны картинки и база данных. Нет смысла терять время на реанимацию трупика.
Свою цену я написал., посмотрите предложение. Единственное, что могу добавить в цену - второй язык.
Почему цена? Просто я понимаю, что примерно неделя на сайт уйдет. Смысла работать дешевле для меня нет.
Ну и то что я сказал раньше - дизайн менять, мобверсию - добавлять, предварительную SEO подготовку - делать, формы обратной связи... ну и прочее всякое. Примеры моих работ можете посмотреть в портфолио.

Да, шаблон вы никак не сохраните. Шаблоны с 2-ки не работают на 3-ке. Шаблоны с 3-ки не работают на 4-ке. С 5-ой все просто, почти все с 4 работает.

Вижу сайт немного починился, но мобильной адаптации\версии у него тоже нет для мобильных устройств.
