General information
The project involves the development of an interactive chat window for the website, which will be used for communication between users and managers or specialists. The main task is to create an animated chat funnel that simulates the process of connecting the user to a specialist, and then provide the opportunity for real communication with the manager via API or directly.
Functional requirements
Chat initialization
- When the user enters the website, the chat window automatically opens.
- The chat window displays a loading animation with the text "Searching for a specialist for you".
- After a few seconds, the animation changes to "Specialist found. Connecting".
- The animation ends, after which the specialist's avatar, name, and first message appear.
- All data about the specialist (avatar, name, message) is pulled through the API.
Animation
- Implement a loading animation that includes rotating elements.
- After the loading is complete, the specialist's avatar and name appear in the center of the window, hold for a few seconds, then shrink and move to the message area.
- The animation should be smooth, without abrupt changes.
Message exchange
- The user can send multiple messages in a row. These messages should be queued.
- User messages are sent to the API in one request, after which the "Specialist is typing" animation starts.
- Upon completion of the animation, the specialist's response is displayed.
Communication with the manager
- The user is tied to a specific specialist, who is identified by a unique ID.
- If the manager enters the dialogue, further messages stop being sent to the API and go directly to the manager.
- The manager can enter and exit the dialogue. If the manager is offline, messages continue to be processed through the API.
Administration
- Provide the ability for managers to enter and exit the dialogue.
- When the manager exits, the chat continues to operate through the API, as described above.
