You need to create a new optimized 3D model of the tail part from the provided reference STEP file. The product must remain strong — not crack or break when manually squeezed. After printing a single prototype, you need to record a short video demonstrating the part and send it along with the package of files.
Tasks
Optimization or remodelling of the tail for the selected type of printing (FDM with nylon + SCK or SLS with PA12).
Structural check (FEA or empirical calculation) for a load of 100 N along the Z axis.
Prototype printing with standard layer parameters of 0.15 mm (FDM) or 0.12 mm (SLS).
Compression test: manually squeeze the part several times; the video should clearly show/noise that there are no cracks.
Final package: STL, STEP, PDF drawing with dimensions and a report (1 page) + video (mp4).
Requirements for the performer
Experience in SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / NX.
Practice in printing and setting parameters for FDM/SLS.
Skills in basic FEA or manual strength calculations.
Portfolio of technical 3D parts (links or screenshots).
Deadline: 72 hours from the moment of task acceptance.
How to apply
Leave a brief message about your experience and add 2–3 examples of your work. After selection, I will provide the STEP file and confirm the agreement through the service.
