Website optimization on WordPress with Elementor: performance, structure, and design

For an existing WordPress project using Elementor, we are looking for an experienced freelancer for technical, structural, and performance optimization of the site. Knowledge of English will be a plus, but is not mandatory.

The project is implemented on WordPress with Elementor (including custom templates). Currently, there are significant performance and stability issues in the Elementor backend that hinder editorial work. The goal of the project is to make the editor stable and user-friendly, as well as to build a clean and long-term maintainable technical foundation.

The tasks include, among others:

    •    Analysis and resolution of performance and stability issues in the Elementor backend (long loading times, errors, black screens, browser freezing)

    •    Technical analysis of the current plugin stack, theme, Elementor settings, and server parameters

    •    Optimization of PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals with clearly defined target metrics for mobile and desktop

    •    Reduction of Custom HTML usage in the backend by developing custom widgets for recurring content blocks

    •    Implementation of a correct Structured Data schema with individual JSON LD snippets for different types of pages

    •    Review and unification of styles and typography based on the existing design in Figma

    •    Redesign of the blog structure, including Blog Roll with pagination, category structure, and author pages

    •    Technical refinement of Author pages, including URL structure, filtering posts by author, and storing author images directly on the site without external services

It is important to carry out the work carefully and in a structured manner with a focus on support and scalability.
