WooCommerce Optimization
Small website based on Woodmart + Woocommerce – mirolux.ua. We encountered the problem of excessive load on the hosting resources, which occasionally increases sharply and significantly. We have taken optimization measures, but the problem has not been resolved overall.
In particular, we moved to a dedicated server with more resources than we had on hosting – the site puts a load roughly equivalent to 10 such on OpenCart (screenshots before and after). We disabled all plugins one by one and checked for viruses – everything is fine, the load only decreased when we disabled Woo.
Question. Does Woo really create such a load now, and can this be optimized somehow?

It is necessary to check the server logs, sql/apache, and so on; it's hard to say, but in general, there are clear problems observed on the category page, it did not open for me. Often, problems are caused by calling all attributes in the filter or something similar. By reviewing the logs, one can accurately determine what is happening overall. Also, it is advisable to use object caching, etc., like varnish/memcache+opcache. For testing, you will need to log into Cloudflare and enable dev mode, as well as clear the cache in advance. In any case, with such a quantity of products, even considering all the flaws of the woodmart template, the category page opens so slowly due to issues with the format of attributes or something similar, where the SQL query ends up being a kilometer long.
