- Deep understanding of PHP, as well as knowledge of how the WordPress core works
- Knowledge of working with databases, building queries with native methods, working with WP_Query
- Ability to create and adapt templates and pages using HTML and CSS (sometimes it is necessary to customize an existing theme, add blocks, elements, and configure responsiveness on all devices - important to be able to work with someone else's code).
- Knowledge of JavaScript, including libraries such as jQuery, as well as understanding how to work with AJAX
- Experience working with various WordPress APIs, such as REST API, Plugin API, and Theme API
