Если конструктивно докажете, что плагины (еще один-два плагина к той пачке плагинов, которая есть) это хорошо и в данной ситуации они смогут поднять сайт с 20-30 баллов от pagespeed - рассмотрю предложение и посмотрю в их сторону.

Львиная доля проблем на вашем сайте:
1. Не сжатые изображения + png \ сжать и преобразовать
2. Большое количество подключаемых css и js \ обьеденить
3. КешированиеА конструктивно доказать что чем решить - это уже и будет выполненная работа, чего нельзя делать в обсуждении проекта 🙂

Ну изначально разговор зашел про плагины.
Соответственно можно подумать, что вы предлагаете установить плагины.
1) Плагин сжатия img
2) Плагин объединения CSS
3) Настроить кеширование в админ-панели хостинга.Конструктивно доказать что чем решить это не значит сделать проект. Тех, кто может доказать и рассказать, как это сделать полно сейчас в личных переписках, а те, кто действительно могут это сделать - на дороге не валяются.

По большему счету плагины"узкоспециализированные" не отличаются по быстродействию от "вбивание хуков, функций" в фанкшн, разница лишь в том, что плагин можно отключить, а функции нужно выпиливать вручную.
